Enjoy a hearty three-course breakfast in the dining room with its mountain view. If you prefer, it's often possible to have it served in your room or outside on the portico. In summer, you'll be greeted with fresh lemonade and homemade cookies. In fall, it's likely to be cold cider with Vermont cheese and crackers. Winter guests are often warmed with mulled cider.
Our goal is to make the Governor's house a very comfortable place to be. Could be the down pillows and warm comforters or maybe the restful quiet of a small village, but guests often tell us they've never slept so well. While there is lots to do in the area, you'll also find the inn's large, quiet rooms very inviting.
