If the weather is calm turn left and venture towards the Pungo River and Pamlico Sound or take a trip to Belhaven by water. If its a little windy turn right and explore up the creek where it is more protected. Salt water game fish to be caught include striped bass, sea trout, flounder, puppy drum, black drum and more. Fresh water fish include largemouth bass and perch. Hunting, especially duck hunting, is fantastic. Duck hunter's will have easy access to the upper Pantego river and many other hunting sites.
