Built in 1829, the Halsey House is a Federal style mansion which is listed on the National Historic Registry. The inn has been meticulously restored to preserve its rich heritage as well as providing all the modern amenites one expects of a luxury inn including whirlpool tubs. The house retains its original wide planked floors, flame-grained doors, beautiful moldings and windows. High ceilings and numerous large windows give a bright spacious atmosphere. Our Common rooms are very inviting with books and games that guests are welcome to use. The Finger Lakes region of upstate New York is well known for stunning scenery, expansive lakes, gorges, waterfalls and scenic wine trails.
