The Beaverkill, one of America's premiere trout fishing streams, flows 100 feet from the Inn. Guests enjoy fly-fishing access to one mile of private water on the upper Beaverkill.
Listed on the New York State and National Registers of Historic Places, the Inn was built in 1895 as a trout fishing lodge. It is one of the few remaining lodges in the area from that time period, and the only one still in operation as an inn. Chef Christina Jurgens and the staff take great pride in the cuisine at the Inn, it's excellence has been noted by several publications including GOURMET. The local chapter of the American Culinary Federation named the Inn restaurant of the year a few years back.
