The Cherry Street Cottages and Shlenker House provide visitors with a convenient location, as well as the comfort, privacy, and charm of a turn-of-the 19th Century neighborhood.

There are sidewalks and street lights and, if you want to jog or take a walk, your front door is the place to start. We are in a historic, beautiful neighborhood. A bank, a dry cleaners, and antique shop are just blocks away. It is only five minutes to Historic Downtown Vicksburg, most of the city's attractions and shopping, and the public library. All cottages are painstakingly decorated and feature queen-sized beds, private phones, cable TV, central air and heat, ceiling fans, tubs and showers and complete kitchen including stove, refrigerator, coffee maker, microwave oven, and pots, pans and dishes.
