Oak Hill Farm came under our care in 1995. We do not consider that we "own" the 120 acres of mountainside, but rather that we have been entrusted with the care of the land and are bound to work with the gifts, energy and direction it gives us.
Art brought with him a kennel of twenty-six sled dogs, both Alaskan and Siberian Huskies. Washington Kennel was started in 1987. Art and his son, James, trained and raced both four and six dog teams in sprint competition. Besides racing we also bred huskies for many years.
