Also we have put in an outdoor kitchen for guest use in one of our 3 large lanai's. Incredible sunsets. Property is 3 acres of tropical fruit, Kona coffee and Macadamia nuts. Located just minutes from Place of Refuge National Park and " 2 Step" for world class snorkeling. Swim with the dolphins and sea turtles at Kealakekua Bay. Visit Captain Cook Monument. Volcano Suite: The 2nd level Master Suite with panoramic views of the Kona coast and the Malka (mountain) The suite includes a king bed and a large private bathroom with custom lava rock walk-in shower and heated Jacuzzi tub. Room is spacious to include a sitting area with a pull out twin bed. Microwave and mini fridge are also available in this suite. 400 sq. feet. Captain Cook Suite: This suite is located on the second level across a walkway into 240 sq. foot suite with it's own on suite bathroom. It has a queen sized bed and a mini fridge and microwave. Tastefully decorated and is the most private and quiet suite. High Hawaiian wooden ceilings and a ceiling fan. Dolphin Room: This room is one of 3 of our standard rooms. It is located on the front side of the house with a sliding door access to the lanai as well as a door to the main area. It has a queen bed and ceiling fan and the bathroom is right outside the door into the hallway. Tastefully decorated and great access. Turtle Room: This room is one of 2 of our standard rooms. It is located on the back side of the house with a sliding door access to the lanai as well as a door to the main area. It has a queen bed and ceiling fan and the bathroom is right outside the door off the lanai. Tastefully decorated and great access. Explorer Room: This room is a nice room with a Queen sized Memory Foam bed and has a bathroom (Shower no tub) outside the room. Nicely decorated with Hawaiian decor, wood floors and a ceiling fan. This room has French doors out to the common lanai and outdoor kitchen area. It has a breakfast option for $5.00 (1) or $10.00 (2) per day. BBQ grill and (limited) laundry use are onsite, (full for 1 week stays). New outdoor kitchen on our covered lanai for guest use. Hawaii State Transient and General Excise Tax ( 13.41%) is due upon arrival. We are in the country. Many small businesses, antique stores and wonderful local restaurants are close by. Grocery shopping is 3 miles North. We are only 20 minutes from all the nightlife and shopping in downtown Kona Town! The 3 acre property is work in progress. With over 35 different exotic tropical fruit tree varieties, Macadamia nut orchard, 300 White Pineapple plants and 1000 Kona Coffee trees on the farm "gardening" has taken on a new level all together! Volcano's National Park is just South of us and Kilauea the worlds most active volcano is still erupting in 2 locations! Easy trip to see all the Waterfalls near Hilo! Black Sand Beach, Green Sand Beach, South Point, Parker Ranch, Wiapio Valley all just a nice drive away! Great Farmers Market's, Hawaiian Bakery's ( With "LIVE" Music) are just minutes from the farm! Take a day trip to the top of the world! Mauna Kea is almost 14,000 feet and has incredible views and is the home of the Keck observatory. We have "LIVE" music at the bottom of our drive (walk if you want) at Guy's Grind's (Great authentic Hawaiian food, fresh fish, burgers and more! B.Y.O.B) on Tuesday's, Friday's and Saturday nights!
