Craig and Caroline Valentine have been operating their bed and breakfast since May 1981. They have lived in Alaska for 35 years. Their two children, who no longer live at home, grew up helping with the bed and breakfast. Cecilia, her husband and two children live in the Seattle area. Kit and his wife live in Anchorage. Kit is a civil engineer. Craig and Caroline are active in church. Caroline directs the handbell choir. She also serves as an organist and choir accompanist. Caroline is active in the local chapter of American Guild of Organists where she is Past Dean and its current secretary. Craig is a retired civil engineer. Caroline is a retired public school mathematics teacher. She is now a math adjunct at University of Alaska Anchorage.
