Most of us have a dream of an idyllic, rambling cottage in the country ; flower borders, roses and ivy climbing the walls, and nothing to listen to but the sheep and the birds-fresh, clean air, wonderful views over patchwork fields , and a rich flora and founa all around. In our romantic dream we step through the open door to a crackling log fire, thick wool carpets underfoot, twisted oak beams overhead - the scent of freshly cut flowers mingling with the rich aroma of polished pine and antique furniture. You cannot beat the charm and inner warmth that Rhos has, it is a havenly spot , totally unspoilt by the modern world. It is the most peacful of places. We take particular pleasure in our gardens and grounds and every year we plant something new. In early Spring we have snowdrops, crocuses and daffodils followed by roses , flowering shrubs and colourful tubs through the Summer.
