Letter Farm is situated at the end of the Lunan Valley, 3 miles east of the historic cathedral town of Dunkeld, nestling between Butterstone Loch and Loch of the Lowes. The Loch of Lowes is a Scottish Wildlife Reserve, home to visiting Osprey, which have nested and reared chicks since 1991. Otters, Fallow and Roe deer can be seen, as well as a wide variety of birdlife. The farm is very central for touring Perthshire or Angus, visitng their many golf courses, historic houses and castles, cycling, walking- exploring the mountians or glens,fishing or generally unwinding amongst fantastic scenery. The Arts are catered for well, by Birnam, Pitlochry and Perth, all holding Arts and Music festivals. Mods are held throughout the year in the smaller more outlying towns. Dunkeld itself lies on the banks of the Tay, and is steeped in history.
