Close to many family attractions, park resorts and parks in Suffolk such as the award winning Lowestoft beaches, Africa Alive wildlife park zoo, Oulton Broad, Pakefield, Great Yarmouth, Southwold, Walberswick, Dunwich, Minsmere, Orford and Aldeburgh.
Kessingland is a medium sized seaside village, 5 miles from Lowestoft. It has a sand and shingle beach, with safe bathing, perfect for children and beach holidays. Private access to the beach via a concrete ramp, that runs down to the sea wall. A short walk along the sea wall and promenade will take you to the Sailors Home pub and The Waterfront Restaurant.

Kessingland’s beach has won many awards. From 2009 to 2013, it won a Quality Coast Award from the Keep Britain Tidy Organisation. Southwold’s beaches also won a Quality Coast Award and Lowestoft’s a Blue Flag Award.

You can be on Kessingland holiday beach in a couple of minutes as it is a short walk from the chalet and only about a mile walk along the beach to the nearest nature reserve at Benacre.
