This Villa has hosted such notables as Frank Sinatra, Elvis Presley, Lana Turner, Johnny Weissmuller, Rita Hayworth, Prince Charles, Errol Flynn, Steve McQueen, Johnny Carson, Barbara Walters, Liza Minnelli, Sylvester Stallone, Elizabeth Taylor married Mike Todd here, and of course Teddy Stauffer - Mr. Acapulco" and many, many others. Villa Scala is the only privately-owned villa located atop a mountain on the grounds of the world famous Villa Vera Hotel Spa and Racquet Club.
