Our Beautiful Cartagena apartment is one of the newest buildings located in the touristic area of El laguito, half a block away from the Hilton Cartagena hotel. The building has 24-hour security with a doorman. Our apartment can accommodate up to 5 people. We have two comfortable bedrooms, one with a queen size bed, master bath and balcony over looking the ocean and Tierra Bomba Island. The second bedroom has two twin size beds. In addition there is one twin size sofa bed in the living room. We also have an air mattress for a 6th person at an additional cost. Our vacation apartment can also be rented as a 1-bedroom apartment to accommodate smaller groups. In this case the second bedroom and one bathroom will be locked to reduce the rental cost. You can also request to have the second bathroom available for you to use. There is a balcony off the master bedroom and living room where you can enjoy the view of the ocean and the excitement of El Laguito. The apartment comes with AC units and ceiling fans in all the rooms, cable TV, DVD player, stereo with AM/FM tuner CD/MP3 player with Ipod and USB docking stations. There is also a safe in the apartment for you to use. The apartment comes with a fully equipped kitchen with all the comforts of home; full size refrigerator, microwave oven, coffeemaker, gas stove, dishes and utensils are all included. You will also have all the convenience at your footsteps: taxies, restaurants, nightclubs, ATM, casinos and much more. El laguito has all the convenience you need and only a few steps away. Catching a taxi in front of the building is only seconds away. For $4,000 pesos (around $2.00 us) a taxi will take you almost anywhere you want to go. There is no need to rent a car. PAYMENT OPTION 2: Credit cards accepted thru PayPal. If using PayPal there is an additional 3% charge from PayPal added to the total rent. PAYMENT OPTION 3: You can arrange to pay the deposit to our administrator in Cartagena or deposit 50% into our bank account in Cartagena and pay the balance at the time of arrival. SECURITY DEPOSIT: A $100 security deposit will be required to be paid to the administrator at the time of arrival. Providing nothing is broken or missing the security deposit will be returned to you at the time of departure. RESERVATION POLICY: 50% would be needed to hold the reservation and the balance would need to be made and clear 1 week prior to arrival or you can pay the balance at the time of arrival to the administrator. You can also pay the full amount at once if you prefer. CANCELLATION POLICY Two weeks or more prior to arrival a full-refund less $100 administration fee will be refunded to you. Less than 2 weeks prior to arrival no refund unless we can re-book the apt. for the same dates in which a full refund less $100 administration fee will be given. All cancellations must be via email. The proximity to all the fine places to go was excellent. Taxis are always parked in front of the building waiting for you not that you need them. Restaurants and bakeries within a stones throw of the building. Casinos within walking distance. Leaving was a snap. Airport was only 10 minutes away. Think the cab ride was $5 us.
