Located up a steep hill (4 wheel drive vehicles only please) in the tiny village of Calla Creek, about a ten minute drive from San Ignacio Town itself, this site is extremely private. The rustic guest cottage rental is situated about 150 yards away from the owner's home, where she lives with her home-schooled daughter, a puppy, and three cats. It is a fully-furnished, one room thatched-roof guest house and loft, with everything you need to enjoy your stay, except the groceries ((this is a self-sustaining unit-housekeeping services are not provided). All bedding, towels and kitchen supplies/utensils are provided. From the porch, you can relax with your morning coffee or your evening glass of wine and take in the sweeping vistas of nearby Xunantunich Ruins and the Cayo valley. Ample hiking is at your door step, and The Vision Exchange Farm can arrange tours for you to almost anything in the Cayo District (horseback riding, ruins, tubing, etc.). In addition, Jude holds yoga classes at a nearby location twice a week. Transportation can be arranged for you to and from the cottage for an extra fee, should you not be travelling with a car.
