The cabin is located 1/2 mile from the trailhead junction, to go East/West/North or South. Lots of options. Trail opens on December 1st Cabin is in the midst of great sightseeing. You can take a day trip in all directions from the cabin and see and do things like tour, play golf, swim, ski, snowshoe, hike, bike, boat, fish, hunt and shop. There are mine tours, the unique town of Copper Harbor, Fort Wilkins, Brockway Drive, Lighthouses, Historical Buildings, The Mystery Of The Paulding Light, Mtu University, Casinos and Theatres.
