Inchydoney beach is a haven for water lovers from the skilled surfer to the complete novice(lessons available) or enjoy the excitement of whale watching off the coastline. there are a number of excellent golf courses in the area or for the very keen visit the Old Head golf course in nearby Kinsale or Fota Island Championship golf course in East Cork. The nearby town of Clonakilty 3.5km boasts a surplus of excellent restaurants and Irish bars that need to be sampled.
