Estoril beach resort is a new hotel built on the island of Boavista, the most fascinating in all Cape Verde, thanks to the white immense dunes that through them selves on to the Atlantic Ocean, the never-ending beaches that surround the island, these gorgeous sceneries make a perfect holiday to discover the African wild nature. A dream island, where you can still discover the traditions of the natives because tourism has not yet arrived! Estoril Beach Resort is situated in a peaceful area in front of Estoril beach just before reaching Sal-Rei, the main town in Boavista.
Marco, one of the first Italians that feel in love with this gorgeous island, moved here back in 1997
and all the Staff of locals guys and girls, will be able to welcome and great you in a typical Italian mixed to colour, smiles with the famous capoverdian "morabeza".
The bedrooms are very spacious done in typical capoverdian stile, fresh and full of colours just like the natives.
The bedrooms are all double, with the possibility to add a third bed. All rooms have a nice big bathroom, ventilator on the ceiling, phone with a direct line and satellite television, The mentionned channel are not garanted, the frequancy are dipendent from the satellite Rai Uno (Italiano) - Euronews (Italiano) - CNBC Europe (English) - MTV (English) - TVE (Espanhol) - RTL (Deutch) and local channel, Rtc (Caboverde), SIC (Portugues), Globo (Brasil), Luso Mundo (Portugues), Sport TV (Portugues).
The electricity is 220 volts, the plugs are European. The room is cleaned daily with the towels are changed, the sheets are changed twice a week, there is the possibility to wash personal clothes. For personal and valuable belongings the hotel has a safety box at the reception that is free.
A small but useful information the bedrooms don’t have a hairdryer or towels for the sea side.
The restaurant, managed by an Italian “Chef”, Fabrizio Patti, is situated on first floor of the hotel, it has a large room and a big veranda where you will be able to enjoy the most gorgeous view of the Estoril beach witch is at 50 mt from the hotel and the desert just in front. Breakfast is self service, with a big variety of choices from homemade cakes to scrambled eggs with homemade bread.
Lunch and dinner have menu “a la Carte” with international dishes and local dishes like cachupa (a stew with corn, beans, manioc, sweet potatoes, herbs, meat or fish) Feijoada (very tasty soup of beans) caldo de peixe (fish soup) and Cabrito (lamb meat, very known in Boa vista for its special taste), last but not least fresh lobster, wahoo or tuner, either our clients or local fish man fish and cook on a daily base. Once a wekk we organize the “Caboverdian Night”, dinner buffet with Caboverdian typical dishes and Caboevrdian live music, plaied by typical artists.
