CAŽ NICOLA looks out onto the long beach of Estoril, a short walk from Sal Rei. The building, in complete harmony with the surroundings, was constructed in white stone combined with the orange shadings of the Sahara. It houses 27 apartments, with ample kitchens and verandas, in which the decor has been chosen with an eye to detail: furniture carved by local artisans and pieces of Indonesian bamboo create a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The advantages of staying in an apartment are coupled with the ease of staying in a hotel. The management combines the Italian tradition of hospitality with a Cape Verdean flair, to offer daily suggestions about local restaurants or key places to visit on the island.
