Rowell's Inn Bed and Breakfast features seven guest rooms and several common areas for your use. The Sun Room is a draw for gathering and chatting by the glow of the fireplace. The Tavern Room is place to converse or put one of the many puzzles together while visiting with old or new found friends. Our front Parlor is the spot for a quiet moment to read one of the many volumes of books that are located throughout the inn, or play a board game within the warmth of the fire. There's even an old Victor Talking Machine to spin some old 78's and be taken back to the earlier days when life was taken at a slower pace. Don't forget the Patio outside were you can languish while sipping a cold beverage from our tavern.
Dining at Rowell's Inn Bed and Breakfast is always a delectable experience. Morning coffee is always ready for you by 7:00 a.m., a full country breakfast is served between 8:00 and 9:00 a.m. Some of the ingredients we utilize are Vermont Maple Syrup, Farm Fresh eggs, Vermont Cheese, Cob Smoked Bacon from a local store and fresh vegetables from an area produce market.
We even make our own hot sauce and salsa, which can also be purchased from us. Here is a recent food review from a great website called www.vermont.com. Dinner service on the weekends is available and also most days mid week during peaks season. We have provided sample Menus and a Wine List for your convenience.
Many Vermont activities and attractions can be found in the surrounding areas. Whether it be Viewing the Magnificent fall Foliage, Winter play and Summer fun, or exploring the nearby shops for a souvenir, looking for that antique that you have to have or taking a stroll along a gently running river or foliage canopied backwoods trail leading to a majestic waterfall or pristine lake. You will find something that will capture your heart and create a memory you can treasure.
