The Barnyard Inn is located in the heart of the busy antiques area in and around Adamstown, PA. Voted by Inngoers in Arrington's 2004 Book of Lists as one of the Top 15
BandBs/Inns in North America for "Best Antiques."
Located in a restored 150 year old German schoolhouse, the Barnyard Inn sits on a two and one half acre wooded site overlooking beautiful countryside.
Owners Jerry and Pam Pozniak have furnished their inn with antiques and family heirlooms. The forty foot living room boasts a corner fireplace with a carved wooden mantel, and French doors lead guests into the elegant dining room, complete with a crystal chandelier and antique chimes that summon them to breakfast. Around the landing of the extra wide staircase are old family pictures, and at the second floor landing the Pozniak's have lined the walls with vintage wedding portraits.
Given the elegance of the inn, its name might seem out of keeping, but there really is a barnyard of animals behind the home, that visitors enjoy while they stay at the inn.
