Welcome to Grandview Avenue Bed and Breakfast, where refreshments await you upon your arrival! Listen to the chimes of our grandfather clock. Wisk yourself back to simpler times. Your hosts, John and Carol have traveled bed and breakfasts throughout Canada and the United States and hope to bring the best back to you. We welcome you and hope that your stay here will be restful.
And for those who want to relax outdoors, spend time on the balcony, experiencing a lovely sunset. Our shaded balcony overlooks our tree lined backyard.The featured plants in the backyard are hostas, petunias, irises, daylilies and various other flowers.Most are planted with butterflies in mind. Arborvitae and blue spruces abound and provide shelter for our local birds.
If you are lucky, you may see deer, fox or wild turkeys in the neighborhood! We have seen many varieties of birds at our feeders. Chickadees, cardinals, flickers, house finches, nuthatches and goldfinches all enjoy a treat of sunflower seeds at the rear balcony birdfeeder. Even the neighborhood squirrel takes a break from his corn cob and raids
the feeder.
