The Candlewycke Inn BandB, chosen by Frommers travel guide as the "star find" in Bigfork, Montana, is open year round. Retreat to this luxurious, NON-SMOKING, lodge-style cedar and log home secluded on 10 wooded acres, tucked away at the foot of the Swan Mountain range. Our 30-ft vaulted ceilings in the "parlor - common room" showcase the pine staircase where each log was selected right off the property. Enjoy the fireplace with a cup of hot chocolate, or tea after a beautiful day in the Flathead Valley
Massive front and back decks inspire nature appreciation. Our groomed trails offer paths for intimate walks, snow shoeing and cross country skiing.
The game room in the loft area offers indoor entertainment such as board games, cards, puzzles and movies for all ages. Bring a book, take a book from our paperback selections or borrow a classic from our personal collection.
Private parties are available in the off season. We can accommodate birthdays, baby showers, bridal showers, or my favorite, a gourmet lunch, and life is good. Or choose from a personalized lunch or appetizer menu and create a memorable day for you and your friends. Lodging is not necessary.
Our five rooms including 2 suites are clean, spacious and have a country folk art theme decoration. They all provide a comfortable atmosphere to singles, couples, families and groups. Throughout all the seasons, we offer relaxation and recreation to fill your heart, mind, body and soul.
A full nutritious breakfast with attention to any dietary needs is included and served each morning at 9:00 am in the country Dining Room.
