This elegant bed and breakfast is located in historic Chesapeake City, Maryland, along the shores of the famous Chesapeake and Delaware Canal. Built in 1854, The Blue Max Inn is a charming and romantic inn located in the heart of the historic area of the town. The inn was once occupied by renowned author, Jack Hunter, who wrote the runaway best selling novel, "The Blue Max". Known affectionately as "the house with generous porches", the Blue Max Inn is located among antique and gift shops, artist studios and award winning restaurants and pubs. Just a short stroll from the center of town and the waterfront, the Blue Max Inn's location is quiet and peaceful.
The Blue Max Inn Bed and Breakfast provides a luxurious atmosphere that is both comfortable and cozy. Working fireplaces, a beautiful dining room and a relaxing parlor with a grand player piano are just a few of the features of this elegant inn. All of our guest rooms and suites are custom designed to pamper you with romantically appointed, extravagant, We recently opened our new exercise room for use by our guests.
