"Hale Kipa" means Guest House. "Nuuanu" means "lush, cool heights." Hawaiian royalty had summer homes in this area. Each unit has color TV, private phone, coffee maker, toaster, fridge, table, chairs and dishes, and private shower bath. The 2nd floor unit has a small bedroom (twins or king). The 1st floor unit also has a small dining area, and a day-bed. Microwave and hot plate available nearby, so only an Aloha Welcome Basket is provided for the first day.
