A tastefully decorated, unique rustic farmhouse-style Georgia Mountain Bed and Breakfast, reminiscent of more laid back days, with stunning pasture and mountain views, porch swings and rockers. All guest rooms have private baths. Located just 1/2 mile off US 76, in Hiawassee, Georgia. Hiawassee is a North Georgia Mountain community that still has that small town feel. Located just minutes from Helen GA, Clayton, GA, NC, SC and TN and just 15 minutes from Georgia's highest point - Brasstown Bald (4,784 feet).
Owners, Mariah and Dave Nugent, treat guests like family providing the utmost in comfortable lodging, bedding, excellent food, and a beautiful setting to unwind and refresh their bodies and souls. They serve a full gourmet breakfast every morning cooked on a 1929 Tappan gas stove along with a daily snack and complimentary beverages. Also served is an early evening hor'douvre happy hour. The property (boarded by two bubbling creeks) boasts 1.6 acres, a beautiful garden with a variety of seasonal flowers and one of the largest white pine trees in north Georgia (over 100 years old). Also on the property is the original house foundation built in 1901 (complete with well still intact).
A quaint cabin in the north Georgia mountains away from the Bed and Breakfast that can sleep 6-8 people, is fully self-sufficient and comes with a picnic table, hammock and grill to complete a relaxing stay. AT hikers are always welcome and can pitch tents at no extra cost. A full breakfast (at the Bed and Breakfast) can be added for just $5.50 per person and as always, cabin guests are invited to enjoy happy hour. The Cove Cabin is small pet and child friendly!
