The Clearing House at Wild Horse Mesa is a very special space designed from the ground up with Feng Shui. It maximizes views from each and every window and harnesses the awesome climate and energies of Sedona. It has panoramic views of the red rocks to the North and the Mingus Mountains to the South. In perfect alignment with Bell Rock and Courthouse Butte, there is a natural flow of positive energy that creates a great sensation of peace throughout the near one-acre property. The mission of the Clearing House is to provide a holistically secure and healthy space for those who literally need "space" in their lives. The total environment is very supportive of its residents and guests; peace, quiet and privacy were priority in the design process.

The meandering paths of the grounds outside will take you to a number of nooks and crannies designed for meditative and creative mindsets. Upon leaving the grounds, you will find yourself within walking distance of shops, restaurants and national forest trails. One of the best trails starts at the base of Wild Horse Mesa - climb to the top in less than two hours and see the entire Verde Valley or explore the preserved ruins on the south side of the Mesa. Numerous hiking and biking trails about within a 10-20 minute walk/drive.
Located just outside the village limits, the home gives a sense of privacy and quietude while millions of annual tourists travel the nearby roadways. In every way, we are close enough to what you want; far enough from what you don't.
The Clearing House is a two minute drive to the center of VOC (Village of Oak Creek), a 20 minute drive to Uptown and West Sedona. 45 minutes north takes you into Flagstaff; 1 1/2 hours south to Phoenix. The Grand Canyon is a 2 1/2 hour drive. The local towns of Cottonwood, Camp Verde and others are within a 20 minute radius.
Things to include on your "To Do" list while you are here?: A drive up Oak Creek Canyon, stopping at Slide Rock State Park to ride the natural water slides. Visit numerous Native American ruins which are remarkably well-preserved -- Montezuma Castle, Tuzigoot and more. Opportunities for hikers and bikers abound around each and every corner from Red Rock Crossing to Red Rock State Park and Bell Rock Pathway. The Flagstaff SnowBowl takes you up the San Francisco Peaks to 1100 altitude -- in summer or winter, it's a ride with a view. Other places of interest within an hour drive --- Sunset Crater, Flagstaff Lowell Observatory, the ghost town of Jerome and the great western town of Prescott.

As for the house, there are too many to list here! For starters: Each guest room has Satellite TV, Coffee Maker, Ceiling Fan, Fireplace, Luxury Bathroom, Personal Deck and/or balcony, and VIEWS to go with it! The space was designed with feng shui from the ground up and there is a marvelous feeling of quietude and privacy in the home although it is the perfect gathering place for retreats, family gatherings and togetherness. The temperate climate in Sedona and the wonderful energy that permeates it is harnessed by the way the house and landscape has been designed. Come and see for yourself. Our guests have all been more than satisfied and most of them say that the photos don't do The Clearing House justice. it's because our home is an EXPERIENCE as much as it is a place to stay.
