Shore House, Isle of Mull offers no smoking BandB accommodation that is ideally situated for travellers to Iona. We are situated at the very tip of the Ross of Mull, and the nearest accommodation to the Caledonian MacBrayne ferry to Iona. We also offer the nearest access to boat trips to Staffa and the Treshnish Islands. These and other boat trips are less than a one minute walk away.
The bus from the Craignure ferry terminal also stops near the house. We have private off-road parking for guests .
Shore House has spectacular sea views to Iona, the Treshnish Isles and beyond. The house has recently been restored and equipped with full central heating. We have just two guest bedrooms so you are assured of individual attention. A first class breakfast is served in our comfortable 'farmhouse style' kitchen,(even the bread, marmalade and potato scones are home made) and we have a reputation for making the start to your day a good one!
From right outside the house you can take boat trips to the famous island of Staffa, with its quite amazing rock formations and Fingals Cave made famous by Mendelssohn . Staffa is also home to nesting puffins until the end of July.
In the earlier part of the summer, trips are also available to the Treshnish Isles nature reserve to see the Puffins.
