Timbali was founded by Pat Forsyth Thompson (Then Speaker of Parliament in Swaziland) and his wife, Joy, in 1968. Timbali Lodge and Country Park nestles within the heart of Ezulwini, "Valley of Heaven", centrally located near Mbabane and Manzini and close to the Royal Swazi Sun Casino, Golf Course and local Handcraft stalls. Timbali is only 4 hours drive from Johannesburg and 3,5 hours from Pretoria. The Lodge, which was established in 1968, is renowned for the warm and personal attention offered to each guest, as well as beautiful English country garden with bright flowers, green lawns, shady indigenous trees and a large variety of birds that provide a perfect setting for guests to relax and unwind.
Please note that all our conference facilities are equipped with overhead projectors, flipcharts, flipchart pens, VCR, slide projector (if required), television monitors, writing pens and pads (at a nominal fee) and data-projectors (which can be arranged at an agreed rate).
All our Rooms have en-suite bathrooms (Luxury have showers, Executives have showers and Spa-baths) with televisions with 4 DSTV and 1 Local Stations, telephones with Internet Connection, tea and coffee Facilities and air-conditioners.
