Erica Guest House is set in a quiet residential road an easy ten minute stroll from the top class restaurants and varied shops of Franschhoek. It is an ideal location from which to enjoy the dramatic scenery, wine and cheese tasting and superb food of the numerous local wine estates .
Pleasant gardens and beautiful mountain views surround the house. There is a sun terrace overlooking the splash pool where breakfast is served when the weather is fine (which it usually is!).
Soaring mountains surround Franschhoek valley - it is difficult not to fall under its spell. Less than an hour’s drive from Cape Town, within half an hour of Stellenbosch and Paarl, the pretty little town is known as the Wine and Food Capital of the Western Cape and is a celebration of the world’s best cuisine. Many of the restaurants have won both national and international awards including Reuben's, French Connection and Le Quartier Francais.
The renowned Huguenot Museum offers visitors the opportunity to discover the history of this fascinating valley and wine tasters are welcomed at most of the picturesque vineyards for a minimal charge.
