Casa Grande is an old Portuguese Estate House that has been restored and furnished with Portuguese antiques. All bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms and upstairs bedrooms have private balconies. There is also a charmingly converted rustic barn to the rear of the main house which sleeps up to 6 . The guesthouse is open all year.
The ADEGA restaurant (an old converted winery), adjoining the guesthouse, is a well-established restaurant serving many Portuguese specialties and an extensive vegetarian menu. Some nights you may be lucky enough to dine and have light entertainment - please call for the programme. The restaurant is open 7 p.m. until Midnight from March until November.
Casa Grande is situated at the top of the pictureque fising village of Burgau , 13 km from Lagos. It is within easy walking distance of the local beach and is ideally situated for access to other secluded beaches along the Algarve coast. Casa Grande is 70 klm from Faro and 300klm from Lisboa.
For the golfing enthusiast, we are within easy reach of three international golf courses, Parque da Floresta and Palmares and Boavista.The Burgau Sports Centre is close and offers tennis, squash and racquet ball as well as a swimming pool and sauna.
Our more adventurous guests can try microlighting, paragliding, water skiing and deep sea fishing which are all available locally.
