For your holiday in Greece come stay with us. Our Aegean Seashore location and swimming pool are ideal for experiencing the wonders of Athens and for a summer's sea, sun, and fun vacation or for a restful winter's retreat.
Enjoy your vacation in the spacious comfort of our large, air conditioned, multi-story home with elevator.
Have privacy at night. Our five bedrooms (three with in-suite bathrooms) can sleep up to ten people without needing sofa beds or cots. At night, leave the windows open to the cool sea breezes and sleep with the lullaby of waves surging on the rocks below.
Enjoy the day. Our house has a large living room, formal dining room, informal dining area, large entrance foyer, two-story atrium, a modern American style kitchen with breakfast nook, laundry room, and powder room. Vacations are for pampering yourself and our private swimming pool is as good a place as any to start.
Live with nature. The Aegean Sea is everywhere. Windows, glass doors, and balconies span the seaside of the house providing commanding views of the Aegean Sea and islands beyond.
Relax. Only a few meters of natural coastline separate our back gate from the refreshing waters of the Aegean Sea. The rocky cove below our house is perfect for diving, snorkeling, swimming, sunbathing or for just laying back and meditating.
Let the kids play in the sand. Our beach, Schinias Beach, with its stately pine trees and gentle sloping sandy shore is without large waves or currents is perfect for small children and adults alike.
Our home is conveniently located in the Athens suburban area of Schinias. Needless to say, Athens and its sites of antiquity are readily available by car or public transportation. Thanks to the Athens 2004 Olympic Games, we have four-lane, divided, expressways that take us to downtown Athens or the airport in 50-60 minutes by car. Dont want to drive then take the local bus with its direct connection to the Athens Subway System.
Experience Greece outside Athens. The highway network serving Schinias allows easy day excursions by car to many famous sites of antiquity outside the Athens area such as Delphi, Mycenae, and Epidavos. Our local port of Rafina is convenient for a day cruise on a sea jet to Mykonos or several other beautiful Aegean islands.
When you arrive, we will meet you at the airport to escort you to the house, if you wish. If you have an infant, we can loan you a playpen. While you are staying with us, we will loan you a cell telephone, without charge. Internet access is available for receiving and sending email.
Swims in the Aegean Sea or walks along its shore are out the back gate. Beaches, beach clubs, convenience stores, and seashore restaurants are between 5 and 15 minute drives away offering windsurfing, sailing, and other water sports. The nearby towns of Marathon, Nea Makri, and Rafina with their ferries, super markets, restaurants, clubs, and shops are 20 to 35 minutes drives.
