The view from our house is breathtaking. It encompasses in excess of 200 degrees of ocean view with monoliths and crashing surf. The property also overlooks the jungle canopy where local Howler Monkeys frequently can be seen along with a wide variety of birds, butterflies and other indigenous fauna.
Our Hideway has an open-floor plan to take full advange of the spectacular oceanscape and jungle canopy views surrounding our property. The house is a two bedroom (sleeps six), one bathroom, 1350 square foot home, with open living room, dining room, with a well equipped kitchen (with eating bar)that is outfitted for eight occupants. The bedrooms each have their own air conditioning units
whilst the living space in the rest of the house is cooled during the day by ocean breezes and several ceiling fans, since the year-round temperature is a constant 86 F (30c).
The property surrounding our Hideaway has a ranchero (Nicaraguan gazebo) along with a brick Bar-B-Q and a covered, furnished breakfast nook.
Surf fishing, snorkelling, swimming and beach combing can be enjoyed year round. A brief 5 minute walk from our house will take you to the expanses of either Marsella Beach or Los Playones Beach. Los Playones Beach is where local and touring surfers abound and can been seen enjoying the waves from our property. The town of San Juan Del Sur is only 9km away where visitors will find a wide variety of restaurants, bars, discos, beach activites and frequent festivities associated with local holidays. Just over an hour drive from our property will enable visitors to explore Lake Nicaragua, Masaya Volcano National Park, the tourist markets in the town of Masaya, the colonial town of Granada, Laguna
Apoya in the town of Catarina and La Flor Nature Reserve where Paslama sea turtles come ashore to lay their eggs.
