The word Quinta used locally to name any property in which family and friends go to relax on weekends away from the hustle, bustle and traffic of the capital city of San Jose perfectly describes our 2 hectare property. The Atenas weather is idyllic, so enjoy the famous Atenas climate (best in the world according to National Geographic) with beautiful warm days and cool sleeping nights! No A/C needed here! We offer you a secluded and private stay surrounded by a variety of tropical fruit trees and wildlife. Our recently remodeled pool side cabins are a statement to the beautiful mountains and volcanoes nearby. Walk the grounds of the Quinta and pick some fruit on your way down to the Cajon rivers two waterfalls. But remember to take your camera and binoculars to catch the toucan, boa and maybe a quetzal perched in a tree.
