Frances Lake Wilderness Lodge - one of Yukon's premier wilderness getaways - is situated in beautiful southeastern Yukon on a secluded lake nestled in the northern foothills of Canada's famed Rocky Mountains. Accessible only by water or air, the lodge offers a true respite from traffic, computers, headlines, and other stresses of modern-day life. Flora and fauna abound and the surrounding wilderness teems with wildlife invites explora. The Lodge's location near the site of the first Hudson's Bay Company trading post in the Yukon gives the lodge a rich historical resonance. One of the original Hudson's Bay cabins is rebuilt on the site of the Lodge and used as a guest cabin. Let the spirit and hardship of the early fur traders touch.
